The festive season may be over but we’re still as excited as a kid on Christmas morning to share with you our seasonal campaigns. When Molton Brown launched its limited edition blend, Fabled Juniper Berries & Lapp Pine for Christmas, we were asked to develop a high impact activation to promote gifting in-store.
Fueled by the ‘stories of exploration’ theme, which sees Molton Brown travelling the world for the finest ingredients, the brand film tells the tale of a little boy who, while hunting the forests of Laponia to find Juniper Berries, gets lost and is led home by the endearing Lyktgubbe.
We thought every home should have its own Lyktgubbe, so we designed one! With every purchase, customers receive one of our limited edition, handcrafted figures to decorate their tree. A giant, free-standing Lyktgubbe in every store provided engaging visual theatre and an out-of-the-ordinary photo op for social media amplification.
Customers also had the chance to win one through a competition designed to drive data-capture. This offbeat and distinctive Christmas collectible captures the imagination and celebrates child-like curiosity to drive engagement, product sales and enrich Molton Brown’s brand story.
